Silverstone International Trophy

First event for Phil Hall this year, racing both his Rennmax BN1 Formula Junior and March 752 Formula Two. Steve Allen raced his March 782 Formula Two and Ian Simmonds raced his Envoy MK1/3 Formula Junior at the event. A fantastic Birthday for Phil Hall on the Saturday, finishing in the Derek Bell Trophy with his March 752 in 2nd position overall, coming from 6th, during the race he also improved his lap time by 0:00.107. Steve Allen maintained his 5th position from qualifying. Race two Steve and Phil both maintained their times. Phil and Ian both entered their Formula Juniors in for the event. Phil qualified 15th/45 and Ian 29th/45. The race saw Ian make up three positions and have a lively race and improve on his best time for the weekend by 0:02.873, Ian also received a trophy for 1st in class. Another great weekend with a 2nd overall and a 1st in class!
