A Weekend of Podiums
The Brands Hatch Masters Historic Festival, proved to be an eventful and progressive weekend for both Complete Motorsport Solutions and the drivers. Phil Hall, competed in his Theodore TR1 in the Historic Formula One events and his Lola T212 in the Historic Sports car event. Ian Simmonds raced his Tyrrell 012 in the Historic Formula One event. Historic Formula One Results: Qualification: Ian Simmonds - 9th / 22 - 1:24.782 - (His Best Ever time at Brands Hatch) Phil Hall - 12th / 22 - 1:25.974 Race 1: Ian Simmonds - 16th / 22 - 1:25.321 (1st in the Lauda Class) Phil Hall - DNF - 1;25.451 Race 2: Ian Simmonds - 8th / 22 - 1:24.916 (1st in the Lauda Class) Phil Hall - 10th / 22 - 1:26.061 (1st in the Fittipaldi Class) Historic Sports Car Results: Qualification: Phil Hall - 5th / 29 - 1:34.112 1 Hour Race: 2nd / 29 - 1:32.248 (2nd Overall and 2nd in Class- Just missing out on 1st by a matter of seconds to Martin Stretton in a Lola T210) Overall a fantastic weekend, with some great results. Complete Motorsport Solutions are looking forward to the Monza weekend (17 - 19th June) where Phil Hall will be driving his March 752 (F2), Nick Osborn will be driving his March 732 (F2) and Ian Simmonds will be racing in his Formula Junior - Envoy MK1/3.
