1st in Class at The Peter Auto Spa Classic 2018
A very successful weekend for Goncalo Gomes’ Lotus Elan, its first race event since being fully rebuilt.
Goncalo Gomes and second driver James Claridge, continued to improve upon their times over the weekend beginning on Friday with free practice the duo finished a respectable 19th out of 77 other cars, with a best time of 3:02.011. A few minor changes where made prior to qualifying that evening. The pair then qualified the Lotus Elan in a competitive 16th / 74 with a best time of 2:57.034.
The highlight of the weekend for Complete Motorsport Solutions was the Peter Auto Sixties Endurance race on Saturday evening, Goncalo and James began in 16th and finished the race in an incredible 13th out of 62 cars that finished, the pair once again improved upon their best time to achieve 2:55.925. The duo also put the car on the top step of the podium by winning their class!
