Whitaker takes Win in Whitsun Trophy!

One of the most prestigious race events in the race calendar has just finished... Goodwood Revival, celebrating 20 years of the event this weekend.
Complete Motorsport Solutions had the privilege of running Mike Whitaker and his Lola T70 MKII in the Whitsun Trophy, and the 20 years of race wins demonstrations each day (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
After an intense day testing two weeks prior to the event, Mike was desperate for a Win at Goodwood after a strong battle against Rob Huff the previous year.
Putting the car on pole during Qualifying on Friday, it was all down to Mike in the race, after dropping down a place at the start, he regained the lost position before coming back round for the second lap. Mike held pole position all the way to the end making a convincing amount of space between himself, Rob Huff and Darren Turner (both professional drivers!), which only made his win sweeter!!
